Description Of Programmable Parameters, Customer Adaptation

The system can be adapted to the wishes of the customer in a variety of ways. How unlocking is carried out when a door handle is pulled may be affected. The method of unlocking depends on which remote key has been found after a search has been carried out around the vehicle. One setting can be stored per remote key. Up to four settings can be stored in the keyless vehicle module (KVM). Settings are made via the infotainment control module (ICM). The following settings can be made:

The customer can select the applicable setting if an infotainment control module (ICM) is installed in the vehicle. The setting is transmitted to the keyless vehicle module (KVM) via the controller area network (CAN) when any change is made. The default setting when the vehicle is supplied is stored in the central electronic module (CEM).
