Adapter Connection

Check that no connector pins or sleeves are damaged.
Check on the engine control module (ECM) that the male pin is whole and is securely seated (cannot be pushed in).
NOTE:
Do not touch engine control module (ECM) connecting pins with your fingers. Engine control module (ECM) components can be damaged by static electricity.
Carefully install the vehicle cable harness on see 9512973 . Lock the connectors by pressing in the catches to the stop.
