Component Specifications, Engine Control Module (ECM)

The component specification gives the value of the component when the connector is disconnected. Where no value is given, it is not possible to measure a relevant value at the component.

Numbers in parenthesis indicate to which pin of the component the value corresponds.

Oil level and oil temperature sensor   12 V (#1)   An oscilloscope must be used to detect changes in the oil level if a defective sensor is suspected. This is because the signals are based on a series of pulses consisting of temperature, level and quality.
