Gear Selection Paddles

As s complement to manual shifting with the gear selector, there are also controls on the steering wheel, so-called "paddles". Shifting occurs at each pull of the paddle as long as the engine speed does not leave the permitted range. After each shift, the indication digit in the combination instrument panel changes to show the current gear.

The gear selection paddles are directly connected via the Steering Wheel Module (SWM) to the Gear Selector Module (GSM).
