Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Module (SAS)

The steering wheel angle sensor module (SAS) is integrated in the lever module together with the steering wheel module (SWM) and is powered via it.

Steering wheel angle sensor module (SAS) will after initiation provide continuous steering angle information via the high-speed side of the CAN-net to, among others, Brake control module (BCM), for calculation of the driver's intended driving direction

Initiation is performed for model year -2009 via ignition position II and turning the steering wheel 4.5 degrees in any direction. For model year 2010- only via ignition position II.
