Humidity Sensor (Only EEC)

The humidity sensor is directly connected to the climate control module (CCM). The sensor is included in the option system for air quality together with the air quality sensor (AQS) and a particle filter. The main task of the system is to ensure that the air in the passenger compartment is free from pollutants. The task of the humidity sensor is to supply the climate control module (CCM) with information about the current humidity in the passenger compartment.

The climate control module (CCM), via LIN-communication to the humidity sensor, also controls the anti-dazzle function of the interior rear view mirror when back-up (reverse) gear is engaged (applies to the S80/V70/XC70).

In the XC60, the internal rear view mirror electronic control module (IEC) communicates with the Climate control module (CCM) via LIN bus.
