Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-De01

Condition

The central electronic module (CEM) checks the communication with the brake control module (BCM).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that communication with the brake control module (BCM) is not operating.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnoses with the ignition on for at least 10 seconds and battery voltage greater than 8 volts.

NOTE:

In the event of CEM-DEXX diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) being stored, the central electronic module (CEM) must not be replaced; the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) indicates a communication fault in the CAN network
