Dashboard/Center console

The dashboard consists of a single unit.

The center console is detachable. The rear section can be detached and removed.

Seats

The XC90 is available with two different seat formats, five seater and seven seater.

Five seater

The second row of seats in the five seater version splits into three parts, 40-20-40 (%).

The backrests can be folded down individually. When the backrests are folded down, the seat moves downwards to give a flat cargo floor.

Seven seater

The seven seater version has a third row with two separate seats. The second row of seats can be moved and adjusted individually from front to rear.

To access the third row of seats, lift the control on the outer backrest on the second row of seats. The backrest folds forwards while the seat moves forward.

To fold the backrest on the third row of seats, use the control at the front edge of the seat cushions, beside the side panels. When the control is lifted, the seat cushions slide backwards and the backrests then fold.

If the center seat has an integrated child seat, the seat can be slid forward to the front position to remove the rear section of the center console. This gives occupants in the front seats better access to the child.
