The central locking system is a distributed system. Those parts which are included in the system are:

• rear electronic module (REM)
• central electronic module (CEM)
• driver door module (DDM)
• passenger door module (PDM)
• driver information module (DIM)
• climate control module (CCM)
• upper electronic module (UEM)
• switch for unlocking the fuel tank filler cover
• lock units in doors
• lock motor at the fuel tank filler cover
• lock unit for tailgate/trunk lid.
