Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS)

The Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) sends CAN signals to the Engine Control Module (ECM) stating whether the driver's safety belt is buckled or not. This is so that the Engine Control Module (ECM) can block automatic start/stop of the engine if the driver's safety belt is not buckled and cancel the function when the vehicle is in autostop.
