Diagnostic Functions
Information for the automatic start/stop of the engine function can be readout via diagnostics. Parameters to read, components to activate etc.
See: (VIDA - DIAGNOSTICS/VEHICLE COMMUNICATION, for the following control modules:)
- Engine control module (ECM)
- Central electronic module (CEM)
- Climate control module (CCM)
The Engine control module (ECM) detects and stores information about which causes can block the automatic start/stop of the engine function and which causes can cause the system to request autostart when the vehicle is in autostop mode. See: (VIDA - DIAGNOSTICS/VEHICLE COMMUNICATION/ECM/Advanced.)
Central electronic module (CEM)
For descriptions of parameters, see: (Description of parameters - Central electronic module (CEM))
For descriptions of activations, see: (Description of activations - Central electronic module (CEM))
Engine control module (ECM)
For descriptions of parameters, see: (Description of parameters - Engine control module (ECM))
For descriptions of activations, see: (Description of activations - Engine control module (ECM))
For descriptions of reasons for blocking of autostop, See: (VIDA - INFORMATION/SPECIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATION, MISC)
For descriptions of reasons for system requested autostart, See: (VIDA - INFORMATION/SPECIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATION, MISC)
