Wide Angle Vision Module (WAM) (4/249) [2018-2022]: Description
The Wide Angle Vision Module (WAM) controls the parking assistance cameras. The cameras send their video signal to the Wide Angle Vision Module (WAM), which processes the raw footage for the Infotainment Head Unit (IHU) and then communicates with the Infotainment Head Unit (IHU) to display the video feeds.
LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) is used to transfer the video signal:
- Between each parking assistance camera and the Wide Angle Vision Module (WAM).
- Between the Wide Angle Vision Module (WAM) and the Infotainment Head Unit (IHU).
