Control Module Test
Reconnect primary leads to coil, pick-up assembly and control module. Disconnect high voltage wire from distributor. Do not disconnect wire from coil. Using insulated pliers, hold high voltage wire about .20" (5 mm) from ground. Crank engine and check for spark. If no spark is present and all other components of system are functioning properly, replace control module.
