Steering Column: Removal
- Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove horn pad by squeezing top and bottom toward center of pad, and unfolding upper edge of pad. Disconnect electrical wiring. Remove steering wheel nut.
- Remove steering wheel. Remove "U" joint-to-gearbox retaining bolt. Remove dust cover. Remove column bracket-to-dashboard bolts and nuts. Remove column and shaft toward passenger compartment.
