Maintenance Guide

During periodic maintenance service, check the assembly of the powertrain.

1. Check that the bolts and the nuts on the joints are not loose. Tighten them according the specified torque.
2. Check that the spline in the coupling plate is not worn. Replace the coupling plate if necessary. To disassemble the electric motor and the transmission, proceed according to the following steps:
3. Loosen the four bolts on the coupling plate. Remove the electric motor from the coupling plate. Loosen the four bolts on the coupling plate, extract the coupling plate. If it is difficult to remove, hit it gently with a wooden hammer. Loosen the hex nuts, remove the coupling plate. Loosen the four bolts that connect the coupling plate and the electric motor. Remove the coupling plate, and:
   • Check that the splines and the flat keys in the coupling plate are not worn and replace them if necessary.
   • When reinstalling, tighten the bolts and the nuts according to the specified torque.
   • After installation, start the electric motor and check for any abnormal knocking.
