Ignition Coil Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Disconnect the 4 ignition coil connectors (1, 2, 3, 4).




3. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 ignition coils (1, 2, 3, 4).

Installation Procedure





Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the 4 ignition coils (1, 2, 3, 4) with the 4 bolts and tighten to 9.0 Nm (80 lb in).




2. Connect the 4 ignition coil connectors (1, 2, 3, 4).
3. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (Service and Repair).
