Splash Shield Replacement - Engine

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
2. Remove the front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement (Service and Repair) .




3. Remove the air cleaner intake duct bolt.
4. Remove the push-in retainers from the engine splash shield. Remove the splash shield.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the engine splash shield by inserting the push-in retainers.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the air cleaner intake duct bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (88 lb in).

3. Install the front fender liner . Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement (Service and Repair) .
4. Lower the vehicle.
