Engine Splash Shield Replacement


Removal Procedure

1.Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .





2.Right side only, remove the air cleaner intake duct bolt.

3.Remove the push-in retainers from the engine splash shield except the one hidden by the inner fender.

4.Remove the front 3 retainers and reposition to access the hidden fastener.

5.Remove the hidden fastener and remove the splash shield.

Installation Procedure





1.Install the engine splash shield by inserting the push-in retainers.

Notice:Refer to Fastener Notice .

2.Right side only, install the air cleaner intake duct bolt.

TightenTighten the bolt to 10 N �m (88 lb in).

3.Install the front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement Service and Repair .

4.Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
