Fuel Rails & Injectors: Removal

  1. Relieve fuel pressure. On Legend, remove engine harness covers. See Fig 1. Disconnect injector electrical connectors. Place a rag over pressure regulator fuel return hose.
  2. Disconnect vacuum hose and fuel return hose from pressure regulator. Disconnect fuel line from fuel rail. Remove fuel rail retaining nuts and fuel rail. Remove injectors from intake manifold.
