Ignition Coil Resistance (Legend)

  1. Remove harness from ignition coil. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between primary terminals "A" and "B" of ignition coil. See Fig 2.
  2. Resistance should be .99-1.1 ohms at 77°F (25°C). Replace coil if resistance is not within specification. Resistance value for secondary winding is not available.
