TCS Control Unit
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1994 Acura Legend. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
TCS control unit uses input signals from wheel sensors, Lg sensor, steering wheel angle and other sources. Control unit evaluates factors such as wheel slip, road and driving conditions. After evaluating these factors, control unit sends signals to the ABS, PCM and TCS valve actuator.
In addition, TCS control unit possesses self-diagnosis and fail-safe functions. When a fault is detected, system releases its control to driver of vehicle. TCS ACTIVE and TCS OFF indicators and/or ABS warning lamps light up and the LED flashes number of times corresponding to fault location.
