Ignition Timing

Ensure ignition timing is set to specification. See IGNITION TIMING . For adjustment procedures, see ADJUSTMENTS article.

IGNITION TIMING (1) (Degrees BTDC RPM)

Application (2) Man. Trans. (3) Auto. Trans.
2.5TL - 13-17 @ 650-750
(1) Install Service Check Connector Tool (07PAZ-0010100 ) to service check connector before checking timing.
(2) Manual transmission in Neutral.
(3) Automatic transmission in Neutral or Park.
