Bench Testing: Rotor: 2.5TL

Ensure rotor bearings rotate smoothly. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between slip rings and rotor, individually. Check continuity between slip rings and rotor shaft, individually. See Fig 1 . If continuity exists, replace rotor. Check resistance between slip rings. Resistance should be 1.8-3.0 ohms. Replace rotor if resistance is not to specification.
