Control Unit Input Tests

Before performing control unit input tests, ensure multiplex control units are operating properly. See MULTIPLEX CONTROL SYSTEMS article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Check connectors for open, loose or disconnected terminals. If terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair as necessary and recheck system. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . If control unit input tests are okay, replace tested control unit and recheck system. See Fig 1 -Fig 6 . See appropriate MULTIPLEX CONTROL UNIT CONNECTOR TERMINAL IDENTIFICATION table.
