At Trunk Lid

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1998 Acura 3.5RL. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Open trunk lid and remove trunk lid inner trim. Disconnect trunk key cylinder switch Gray 2-pin connector. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between trunk key cylinder switch connector terminals. Continuity should exist when master key is inserted into trunk key cylinder and turned to UNLOCK position (clockwise). Continuity should not exist when key cylinder is in neutral position (released). If continuity is not as specified, replace trunk key cylinder switch.
