DTC P1607: Powertrain Control Module (Pcm) Internal Circuit Failure "A"
- Perform PCM reset procedure. See PCM RESET PROCEDURE/CLEARING CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Turn ignition on and wait 3 seconds. If DTC P1607 does not reset, problem is intermittent. System is okay at this time. If DTC P1607 resets, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Connect jumper wire between PCM 31-pin connector terminals No. 18 (Green/Blue wire) and No. 26 (Red/White wire). Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, check engine coolant temperature. If -4°F (-20°C) or less (or L-limit in Honda mode), or 5 volts are present, substitute a known-good PCM and recheck. If -4°F (-20°C) or less (or L-limit in Honda mode), or 5 volts are not present, repair open circuit in Red/White and Green/Blue wires between PCM and ECT sensor.
