VSA Modulator/Control Unit: Installation

  1. Install VSA modulator/control unit to bracket. Install and tighten mounting nuts. Align and insert 42-pin connector into VSA modulator/control unit plug-in. Push locking lever down until a click is heard. Connect 3-pin pressure sensor connector. Install and tighten 6 brake lines to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Go to next step.
  2. Bleed precharge brake line. See PRECHARGE BRAKE LINE BLEEDING . Bleed hydraulic brake system. See HYDRAULIC SYSTEM BLEEDING . Start engine and ensure that ABS indicator goes off. Test drive vehicle and confirm that ABS system is functioning properly.
