Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair

ECT Sensor Replacement

1. When the engine is cool, drain the coolant from the radiator.
2. Remove the air cleaner.
3. Disconnect the ECT sensor 2P connector.




4. Remove the ECT sensor (A).
5. Install the sensor in the reverse order of removal with a new 0-ring (B).
6. Refill the cooling system.
