Passenger's Mode Control Motor Replacement: Removal

NOTE: Set the passenger's side climate control to the VENT position before removing the motor

  1. Remove the passenger's dashboard undercover (see PASSENGER'S DASHBOARD UNDERCOVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
  2. Remove the glove box (see GLOVE BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
  3. Remove the glove box frame (see step 4 on BLOWER UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
  4. Release the wire from its harness clip (A), then remove the self-tapping screws and the passenger's heater duct (B)

  5. Disconnect the 7P connector (A) from the passenger's mode control motor (B) Release the wire from its harness clip (C), then remove the self-tapping screws and the passenger's mode control motor from the heater unit
