Humidity Sensor Test

NOTE: Before testing the sensor, check for HVAC DTCs (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION )
  1. Remove the humidity/in-car temperature sensor (see HUMIDITY/IN-CAR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT )
  2. Connect the humidity/in-car temperature sensor 4P connector
  3. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode Measure the voltage between the terminals with the (+) probe on terminal No 2 and the (-) probe on the No 3 terminal with the connector connected

  4. If the voltage is not as specified, replace the humidity/m-car temperature sensor (see HUMIDITY/IN-CAR TEMPERATURE SENSOR REPLACEMENT )
