Navigation Cannot Control XM Radio

NOTE:
- Check the vehicle battery condition first (see BATTERY TEST )
- Check any official Honda service website for more service information about the navigation system
- Connect the HDS to the DLC
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), or press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode
- Check for DTCs with the HDS
Are there any DTCs present?
YES -Troubleshoot the DTC, then retest
NO -Go to step 4
- Make sure the anti-theft code for the audio system is entered
- Go into the System Diagnostic mode, and use the System Links diagnosis (see
SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC MODE )
Is the XM icon red?
YES -Do the troubleshooting for the voice guidance cannot be heard (see VOICE GUIDANCE CANNOT BE HEARD, IS BROKEN UP, OR THERE IS STATIC )
NO -Go to step 6
- Substitute a known-good audio-navigation unit (including the HDD) (see
AUDIO-NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
Can the navigation system control XM radio functions?
YES -Replace the audio-navigation unit (see AUDIO-NAVIGATION UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
NO -Replace the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) (see ACURALINK CONTROL UNIT (XM RECEIVER) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ) or the XM receiver (see XM RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
