NAVIGATION DISPLAY UNIT 36P CONNECTOR

Cavity Wire Color Terminal Name Description Voltage (about) Symptom
1 WHT + B (+ B power source) Continuous power source Battery voltage If open: Screen completely off (no backlight visible). If short to ground: Blows fuse No. 15(10 A) in the under-hood fuse/relay box.
2 PUR ACC (Accessory) Power source for accessory Battery voltage at ACCESSORY (I) or ACC mode If open: Display and buttons do not work. If short to ground: Blows fuse No. 18 (7.5 A) in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.
3 BLK GND(RC) (Ground camera) Ground for rearview camera 0 V If open: No change to rearview camera image. If short to ground: No change to rearview camera image.
4 WHT CAMERA V (VCC supply) Power source for rearview camera 8V If open: When put into reverse, the navigation screen goes black (backlight still operates) If short to ground: When put into reverse, the navigation screen goes black (backlight still operates).
10 WHT SCTY2 Security signal to audio-navigation unit 0 V If open: The security system sets, and does not trip when navigation display unit is removed. If short to ground: The security system sets, and does not trip when navigation display unit is removed.
11 BRN SCTY1 Security signal from passenger's MICU 0 V If open: The security system sets, and does not trip when navigation display unit is removed. If short to ground: The security system sets, and does not trip when navigation display unit is removed.
12 GRN RGB GND (Ground signal) Ground for color signal 0 V If open: No effect on system. If short to ground: No effect on system.
13 BLU YS (overlay signal) Overlay control signal 1.0 V AC average If open: No change to display. If short to ground: No change to display.
14 WHT R-SIG (Red signal) Red color signal 0.7 V AC If open: Red color missing (see RGB Color diagnosis under Monitor Check ). If short to ground: Red color missing (see RGB Color diagnosis under Monitor Check ).
15 RED G-SIG (Green signal) Green color signal 0.7 V AC If open: Green color missing (see RGB Color diagnosis under Monitor Check ). If short to ground: Green color missing (see RGB Color diagnosis under Monitor Check ).
16 YEL B-SIG (Blue signal) Blue color signal 0- 1 V AC If open: Blue color missing (see RGB Color diagnosis under Monitor Check ). If short to ground: Blue color missing (see RGB Color diagnosis under Monitor Check ).
(1) The shielded wires have a heat-shrink tube insulating the outside of the wire. The color of the insulating tube, typically black or dark gray, may not match the color of the wire listed on the circuit diagram.

20 RED VCC GND (Ground camera) Ground for camera signal 0 V If open: No change to rearview camera image. If short to ground: No change to rearview camera image.
21 GRN CAMERA VCC (Video camera) Video signal for rearview camera 0.3 V If open: No change to rearview camera image. If short to ground: No change to rearview camera image.
22 GRY* CAMERA SH (Shield camera) Shield for terminals No. 3, No. 4, No. 20, No. 21, and No. 23 0 V If open: No effect on system. If short to ground: No effect on system.
23 BRN CAMERA ADPT (Adaptive camera) Control signal for rearview camera 0 V If open: No change to rearview camera image. If short to ground: No change to rearview camera image.
31 GRY* GA-NET BUS SH (Shield GA-NET bus) Shield for terminals No. 32, No. 33 0 V If open: No effect on system. If short to ground: No effect on system.
32 PNK GA-NET BUS + (GA-NET bus positive) Data bus+ GA-Net 0- 5 V pulses average 2.5 V (depends on bus traffic) If open: System Link screen Display shown as red.
If short to ground: GA-Net related system do not work.
33 BLU GA-NET BUS- (GA-NET bus negative) Data bus- GA-Net 0 - 5 V pulses average 2.5 V (depends on bus traffic) If open: System Link screen Display shown as red.
If short to ground: GA-Net related system do not work.
34 GRY(1) SIG SH (Shield signal) Shield for terminals No. 12, No. 13, No. 14, No. 15, No. 16 and No. 17 0 V If open: No effect on system. If short to ground: No effect on system.
35 BRN BACK LT-(Back light or reverse signal) Reverse signal of select lever from reverse relay circuit In reverse, battery voltage: Otherwise 0 V If open: No change to rearview camera image. If short to ground: No change to rearview camera image.
36 PNK NAVI ILL+ (Illumination positive) Parking light on signal from dash and console lights Battery voltage if lights on: otherwise 0 V If open: When brightness=Auto, night mode for the display is inoperative when lights on. If short to ground: When brightness=Auto, night mode for the display is inoperative when lights on.
