Keyless Access System Symptom Troubleshooting - Cannot Select ON Mode With Keyless Access, But Can Select ON Mode With The Keyless Remote Touching The Engine Start/Stop Switch: Inspection

Signal (SS1 (+)), Signal (SS2 (-)) Open Wire Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
  • Engine start/stop switch 10P connector: disconnected
  • Body control module connector G (32P) : disconnected
• Procedure
  • Perform the inspection according to the following table.

    			(Disconnected) Engine start/stop switch 10P connector female terminals	(Disconnected) Body control module connector G (32P) female terminals

    	SS1 (+) open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω
    	SS2 (-) open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ω

Results 

• If abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

Body Control Module Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item (s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining body control module is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the body control module.
