Multi View Camera System (MVCS) Description

Multi View Camera System (MVCS) Function 

• This multi view camera system has a ground view that displays a surrounding image of a vehicle on a screen in a bird's-eye view. The ground view image is created by combinations of image inputs from four wide-angle cameras (one at the front, one at the rear, one at the right side, and one at the left side). The image is used to eliminate some blind spots particularly when parking a vehicle.
• The view options (other than the ground view) are a front view, side view, front blind view, rear view, and rear wide view. The suitable views are displayed on the center display unit. These views are automatically chosen by the system corresponding to the driving situations.
• The multi view camera system uses the vehicle speed signals and shifting signals sent from the F-CAN to put the suitable views on the screen. The multi view camera system also uses input signals sent from the steering angle sensor to display the guidelines on the screen.
