TP Sensor Inspection

NOTE: Since there is no direct method to test the component itself, troubleshooting is performed on the related components.

VCC3, THL2, SG3 Circuit Inspection

NOTICE:

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

  Throttle body 6P connector: disconnected
- -
  PCM connector E (80P): disconnected
Procedure
- -
  Perform the inspection according to the following table.

VCC3 open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
THL2 open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
SG3 open wire inspection	OFF			There is less than 1 Ohm
NOTE: Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.
THL2 shorted to ground inspection	OFF			Not shorted

If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.
