APP Sensor Component Inspection

NOTICE:

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Preconditions

NOTE:

This procedure can be done before any other inspections are completed because this test procedure includes all of the following inspection items. However, if this test fails, it will be necessary to continue with each inspection item individually to determine which item failed.

External circuit is normal

Test Procedure

Preparation

  PCM connector A (50P): disconnected
Procedure

  Perform the inspection according to the following table.

(Disconnected) PCM connector A (50P) - Refer to: PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (3.0L Engine) (2022 2023 2024) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (3.5L Engine) (2022 2023 2024) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (3.5L Engine) (2025) or PCM Connector for Inputs and Outputs (3.0L Engine) (2025) female terminals

Normal Conditions

Sensor internal circuit inspection

OFF

There is no continuity

Results

If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the accelerator pedal module.
