Inspection Outline

Troubleshoot any DTCs listed or indicated systems below first.
- Keyless Access System [Keyless Access Control Unit], [Backup Control Unit], [Power Control Unit]: Go to the indicated DTC's troubleshooting .

NOTE: For more efficient troubleshooting, you may be able to eliminate some inspection items as potential failures based on the conditions of the failure and vehicle.

Select HISTORY DATA from the KEYLESS ACCESS CONTROL UNIT mode menu with the HDS.
Select HISTORY CLEAR, and back to TEST MODE MENU.
Turn the vehicle to the OFF (LOCK) mode.
Touch the engine start/stop switch with the keyless remote. The buttons on the keyless remote should be facing you.
Turn the vehicle to the ON mode.
Select HISTORY DATA from the KEYLESS ACCESS CONTROL UNIT mode menu with the HDS.
Do the HDS [ENGINE START/STOP SWITCH 1 (+)], [ENGINE START/STOP SWITCH 2 (-)].
