Diagnostic Test

  1. CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC 
    1. With the scan tool, read DTCs.

      Is the DTC active?

      Yes 

      • Go To  2

      No 

      • Test complete.
  2. CHECK THE CRUISE CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND 
    1. Check for a short to ground on the Cruise Control circuit.

      Is there a short to ground on the Cruise Control circuit?

      Yes 

      • Repair the short to ground in the Cruise Control circuit.

      No 

      • End of diagnosis.
