Current Adjustment Control Unit For ELECTRCI Pump

REMOVAL

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
   NOTE:

   If the electric pump current adjustment control unit is replaced, connect the scan tool and carry out the "data set deletion" procedure.

   NOTE:

   In the event of simultaneous replacement of the electronic control unit (TCU) and of the electric pump current adjustment control unit, the "data set deletion" procedure must be performed after the "historical data" rewriting procedure.

2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery terminal.
3. Remove the left rear wheel. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. Remove the left rear wheel splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONSHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
5. Remove the left rear quarter panel. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER, LEFT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONPANEL, QUARTER, RIGHT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
6. Disconnect the electrical connection for the pump current adjustment control unit.

7. Undo the screws (2a) and remove the electric pump current adjustment control unit (2b).

INSTALLATION

1. Fit the electric pump current adjustment control unit in its housing and tighten the fixing screws.
2. Connect the electrical connection for the pump current adjustment control unit.
3. Install the left rear quarter panel. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER, LEFT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONPANEL, QUARTER, RIGHT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4. Install the left rear wheel splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONSHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
5. Install the left rear wheel. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
6. Connect the negative battery cable.
7. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
