RFH And Key Programming
RFH PROGRAMMING
If the Remote Frequency Hub (RFH) is replaced on vehicles equipped with the Passive Entry (PE) key:
- Connect the scan tool
- Navigate to RFH control unit located in "Misc Functions" menu
- Select and perform the "RFH replacement" routine and follow the prompted instructions.NOTE:
Once the RFH is programmed with Immobilizer data, program the TPM Sensor IDs, as well as the "RFH TPM Update FF FR Axle Tire Press Value".
KEY PROGRAMMING
Key programming notes:
- When programming new keys, all keys do not need to be present.
- A deleted key can be programmed back to the vehicle if it is found.
- If the Personal Identification Number (PIN) expires before use, a new PIN will need to be obtained.
Do not put a Laptop or other wireless device (cell phone, cell phone, audio device, etc.) on top of or near the center console (between the seats to the dash). The Low Frequency (LF) antenna is below the center console and these devices may interrupt programming. Make sure that the key fob that is being programmed is inside the car away from nearby consumer electronics. Disconnect aftermarket cell phone chargers before attempting to program the key fob.
Keys Programming - Select and run the "Enable FOBIKs" when programming new keys. To erase lost/stolen keys, select and run the "Disable FOBIKs" procedure. Follow the on screen prompts for either routine.
