Checking activation: Notes

• Pull connectors -1- off connection -2- of all fuel injectors.

• Connect VAG1527 diode test lamp to terminals 2 + 3 of connector.

• Operate starter and test ignition signal from Engine Control Module (ECM).

  LED should flicker.

• Repeat test between terminals 2 + 4 and 2 + 5.

If LED does not flicker:

• Connect test box to control module wiring harness. See TEST BOX, CONNECTING FOR WIRING TEST .
