Fuel Systems: Notes

Basic diagnosis of fuel system should begin by checking fuel pump operation and fuel pressure.
WARNING:
ALWAYS release fuel pressure before disconnecting fuel injection-related component. DO NOT allow fuel to contact engine or electrical components.
CAUTION:
When battery or ECM is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until adaptation systems have completed a relearn cycle.
