NOTE:

Control module with part no. 8N0 906 018 C was equipped with "06500" as a permanent code and cannot be re-coded.
Control module with part no. 8N0 906 018 K was equipped with "06550" as a permanent code and cannot be re-coded.

Connect VAS5051 vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system or VAG1551 scan tool and select control module for engine electronics using "address word" 01. Refer to VAS5051 vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system or VAG1551 scan tool, connecting and selecting functions .

Ignition must remain switched on for this.
