Checking Fluid Level
Remove plug (arrow) to check oil. See Fig 1. The oil level is correct when the transmission is full to the lower edge of the filler hole. Install plug (arrow). See Filling with new oil: Remove plug (arrow). See Fig 1. Top off oil to lower edge of filler hole. Install plug (arrow). Start engine, engage gear and allow transmission to turn for approx. 2 minutes. Switch off engine and remove plug (arrow). See Fig 1.Fig 1. Tightening oil filler plug to 18 ft lbs (25 Nm).
Top up oil to lower edge of filler hole again. Install plug (arrow). See Fig 1. Tightening oil filler plug to 18 ft lbs (25 Nm).
