Servicing - 02M: Identification: Transaxle

The manual transmission 02M AWD is installed in the Audi TT as a 5 or 6-speed transaxle in conjunction with the 1.8L 4-cylinder turbo engine. For locating code letters, see Fig 1. For locating code letters and date of manufacture table, see Fig 2.

NOTE: The code letters of the transaxle are also engraved on the vehicle data plates. The shift knob shows a 5 or 6 speed shift pattern.
