Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch, installing
Installation is performed in reverse order. When doing this note the following:
- Place Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch -F125- on selector shaft.
- Hand-tighten Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch fastening screws - B -.
- Install washers - 1 - , - 2 - and nut - 3 - on selector shaft.
Nut tightening torque: 7 Nm.
- Secure nut by bending hooks on lock washer - 2 - up.
NOTE:
- If one or more hooks on lock washer are broken during bending, these must be replaced.
- Adjust Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch -F125- → Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch -F125-, adjusting
- Install lever/selector shaft - 1 -.
Nut - 3 - tightening torque: 12.5 Nm.
NOTE:
- Transmission must remain in "N" , shift back to "N" if necessary.
- Connect connector - 5 - to Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch.
- Press selector lever cable - 1 - onto lever/selector shaft - 6 -.
NOTE:
- Under some circumstances, you will have to switch the lever/selector shaft to the correct position in order to press selector lever cable on.
- Do not kink selector lever cable.
- Connect hose - 5 - to air filter housing.
- Selector lever cable, checking adjustment → Selector lever cable, checking and adjusting .
