Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch, removing

• Place selector lever in "N" position.
• Switch off ignition.

• Disconnect hose - 5  - from air filter housing.

• Press selector lever cable - 1  - off of lever/selector shaft - 6  - using screwdriver.
• Do not loosen screws - 2  -.
• Do not kink selector lever cable.
• Disconnect connector - 5  - at Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch.

• Remove lever/selector shaft - 1  -.

• Bend hooks of locking washer - 2  - back using a screwdriver.

NOTE:

• If one or more hooks on lock washer are broken during bending, these must be replaced.

• Remove nut - 3  - with washers - 2  - and - 1  -.
• Remove both screws - B  - and pull Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch - A  - upward over selector shaft.
