Diagnostic Mode 1: Obtain data
In this diagnostic mode, all emissions-relevant measured values are displayed.
Test requirement
- Coolant temperature at least 80° C.
Procedure
- Connect diagnostic tester. → Diagnostic tester, connecting .
- In diagnostic function "address word 33 - OBD" select "Diagnostic Mode 1: Obtain data."
- Select desired measured value according to the "PID XX", e.g. "PID 05-Coolant temperature", via the following table.
NOTE:
- Specified values assigned to the measuring values are found in the corresponding component and function tests.
- Measuring values of the Engine Control Module (ECM) J623 are displayed under "10 - Engine electronics" and measuring values of Transmission Control Module (TCM) J217 are displayed under "1A - Transmission electronics".
