Code control module: Notes

If the VAG. 1551 does not show the correct coding or if a new control module is to be installed, the control module must be coded using the following procedure:

• Press buttons -0- and -7-.

Rapid data transfer Q 07 - Code control module

Indicated on display

• Confirm input with -Q- button.

Code control module Enter code number XXXXX (0-32000)

Indicated on display

• Enter the control module coding via the keypad as indicated by the coding table. For example: 4682 (central locking + anti-theft alarm/radio-operated remote control).
• Enter coding of control module for central locking for TT Coupe and TT Roadster with manually operated convertible top or hydraulically operated convertible top. Refer to Check control module version  via keypad: e.g.:

Coding: 15884 

Code control module Q Enter code number 15884 (0-32000)

Indicated on display

• Confirm input with -Q- button.
• The display will show the control module identification (central locking with anti-theft alarm) together with the coding that has been entered.

• Press → button.
