Test sequence

Connect vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051. Go to VAS 5051 VEHICLE DIAGNOSTIC, TESTING AND INFORMATION SYSTEM, CONNECTING AND SELECTING FUNCTIONS . Select vehicle system "01 - Engine electronics" in selection. Engine must be run at idle.

Under -1- select diagnostic function "08 - Read measured value block".

1 - Enter display group

Enter desired display group number (three figures) in zone -2- and confirm entry by pressing -Q- button.

NOTE: The choice of display group depends on the particular functions and components to be tested.

Display zone 2

NOTE:

If no display follows, a display field is not assigned.
To switch to a different display group, proceed as follows:
